| The Virginia
and North Carolina Laborers’ Training Funds’ purpose
is to provide the necessary training, education and certification
for union laborers in an effort to make them and our union signatory
contractors more competitive. We serve as a source of information
for construction, environmental and safety training concerns. |

| The Board of Trustees of the Training Fund
is comprised of an equal number of management trustees and labor
trustees. The Trustees are responsible for all actions of the Training
Fund. They determine policy, financial appropriations and personnel
hiring/firing. The Administrator/Director reports to the Board of
Trustees. He/She makes recommendations to the Board and administers
the Funds programs as directed by the Board. He/She directs the
employees of the Training Fund in day to day operations. |
