| Chartered in 1956, the Council, through
its affiliated local unions, has played a vital role in the lives
of thousands of workers and their families.
Our goals are:

To bring under our banner those who toil in laborer
job classifications. |
| 2. |
To equip our signatory construction contractors
with the skilled workforce they need to compete in the 21st Century.

| 3. |
To build a positive relationship with signatory
employers for the benefit of all concerned. |
| 4. |
To provide fair wages and benefit packages to
our members. |
| 5. |
To fairly represent all of those who work under
our collective bargaining agreements. |
